Several months ago a friend of mine, Rebecca, sent an email around asking for input from singles on what it’s like to be single and LDS. She received some nice feedback, so she and her friend, Peggy de Azevedo, are moving forward with researching a book on the challenges and joys of being an LDS Single. They have created a website called LDS & Living Single.
Rebecca & Peggy have seen a growing number of LDS single adults who are faced with something they don’t want and didn’t plan on: being single in a culture of couples. There are a lot of “why” questions and self-doubt resulting in “What’s wrong with me?”. As a result, they see discouragement and depression taking its toll on beautiful, talented, educated people.
If you are an LDS single and feel like contributing to this research, then please complete the LDS & Living Single online survey. Rebecca & Peggy would love to know your story. If you are not single, please direct any singles you may know to this page (http://darinliz.com/161/) so they can learn about this research and the survey.

This is great! About 10 years ago, I started an outline for a book on the subject. My title was going to be “The LDS Bridesmaid: How to be Single in a Verry Married Church.”
