Est. 1999 Version 7.1.0
Darin and I got to spend a week in July in Raymond with a few of the Jensen clan. We’re bummed beyond belief to have missed some of our peeps, but were thrilled to see G & G, Ross & Pudge, Sina & offspring, Matt & Twila & co., and more.
The flight from Oakland to Seattle (layover) is always beautiful. First Crater Lake, then some mountains, then Mt. Rainier.
And flying is always more fun if you buy the snack pack. Divine cracker anyone?
Sensuous?
Nope, just happy.
A lazy Sunday afternoon.
Ross, the supermodel, posed for me while I checked out his lens on my new camera.
And this, my friends, is a fiendishly delicious nanaimo bar.
More later tonight…

Hey Liz, the “some mountains” is the active volcano St. Helen’s (you can see the blast trajectory around spirit lake, really cool picture), and I believe Mt. Hood. Very cool. Looks like you and Darin had almost as much fun as Jenny and I!

Great pictures of Crater Lake and the mountains. Were you flying at the normal altitude? Maybe it’s just that I just flew over middle America where there aren’t any mountains and then the Rockies are continual….
Spectacular! Love the Jensen clan pictures too…

Wow, your pictures look great. I thought the picture of you relaxing on the couch was still in the plane and I was way impressed that your were flying 1st class.
I wish I had a nanaimo bar right now.

Paul - I thought that was Mt. St. Helens! The last time I saw it though it was smoking…
Mom - the flight to Seattle is always totally awesome. It seemed that on the way home we flew above the clouds. Maybe there weren’t clouds on the way there? Maybe we fly higher on the way home?
Kim - I wish I had a nanaimo bar right now too. There are loads of recipes online, but let’s face it, I’d rather just be in Canada buying them from the super.

The picture of the Nanaimo bar made me start salivating, I’m wondering who those two cute girls are in the hot pink t-shirts, and I love the aerial photos of the Seattle area. It was sure great to see you guys. We love you.
