I’ve just arrived in Katherine from Uluru via Tindal Royal Australian Airforce base. I’m staying at Knotts Crossing Resort which is only slightly nicer than a Motel 6 and without question the poorest accommodation on the trip thus far.

I’m sitting in a Dash-8 in Tennant Creek Australia (Google that for a surprize)watching the pilot refuel the plane using five 55 gallon drums and an electric hand pump. I’ll post some pictures when I land in Katherine (if there’s a computer).
