It was 13 years ago and still hurts as if it happened yesterday. The Other Liz - I have locked my keys in a running car at least 4 times in the last 9 years. The last time I did it I was on a business trip and missed my appointment because I was stranded waiting for AAA to come rescue me. My husband loses other things, my camera, ski boots (left on the train and I successfully hunted them down 2 weeks later) and most recently his iPod. Keys are less expensive. you're lucky!
