Alice - I have a very sad story about losing a suitcase on a train from Tallinn to Warsaw that I will tell you one day. It was 13 years ago and still hurts as if it happened yesterday.

The Other Liz - I have locked my keys in a running car at least 4 times in the last 9 years. The last time I did it I was on a business trip and missed my appointment because I was stranded waiting for AAA to come rescue me.

i am so glad to learn this about someone else. i went through about 9 lost housekeys as a child. then had to wear it around my neck with a shoe string. I have also left the keys locked in the car with it running. i can't wait to tell mike about your post. he truly thinks I am the only person in the entire world who is possible of this experience. ;-)

My father-in-law keeps an extra pair of keys attached to his belt because he always loses his keys. My husband loses other things, my camera, ski boots (left on the train and I successfully hunted them down 2 weeks later) and most recently his iPod. Keys are less expensive. you're lucky!
