Est. 1999 Version 8
Late Saturday morning after I got home from the gym, Flat Stanley got up on the roof and helped me scoop the leaves and muckiness out of the rain gutters. You can see the muck I mentioned on Flat Stanley’s glove. I discovered that not only does Flat Stanley favor the one-gloved Michael Jackson look, but he is also a south paw. Flat Stanley also loves wearing a right handed glove on his left hand. He has a big pinky.

In this shot you can see the shadow of Flat Stanley sitting on Liz’s knee, taken from the second story looking down on the first. Thank goodness Flat Stanley is not afraid of heights!

A nice view.

Later that after noon, after a nap, (no photos - Flat Stanley drools a bit when he sleeps), the whole family went to Benihana to celebrate Liz’s birthday. Flat Stanley was really excited about the chicken fried rice you can see here. Yummmmmy food all around! Liz is pretty sure that she got the best dish - seared tuna (read “practically raw”), but is also pretty sure she can hear the rest of the family gagging their disagreement. What can I say? I like raw meat! Everyone loved the mango lemonade though.

Flat Stanley loved going to church with us! He said our sunbeams were just awesome, and we think he is right. He loved learning about how he and every one of us is a child of our Heavenly Father. Makes him feel important and want to treat everybody he sees with great kindness.

Can you even get over how cute they are? Darin and I still have a lot to learn about 3-year-olds, but we just love these kids. They are so bright and so full of enthusiasm.

All three of us, Darin, Flat Stanley and me, all love this car. We think we might get to heaven for simply resisting the urge to knock off the owner and run for the border with it.
Better shot of Flat Stanley.

Better shot of the car.
