Est. 1999 Version 8
Mom visited me in Seattle this weekend and it was soooo muuuuch fuuuun! We only had 48 hours together, but we made the most of it. I just can’t believe she is already gone again, it was almost like a dream.
The following pictures are of course from our weekend adventures. The night photos were taken - after dinner at the 5 spot - from the little park on Highland Drive (Avenue?) on Queen Anne looking out over Seattle. It was a flawless Friday night. The next ones were taken from inside the Ye Old Curiousity Shop down on the waterfront. I made mom put on a hat and take the first picture with me, thanking her for humouring me. She took off the hat and promptly picked up another one. After a few photos and much laughter we realized that several of the patrons were getting a kick out of us giggling and snapping photos. We left one couple there trying on hats themselves. The last photo is of us on the Bainbridge Island ferry. I love mom!

Depends on the family. Darin’s brother moved from Sydney to Cincinnati and now they see heaps more of their folks. Of course, now they live faaaar from a beach. So you take your pick!
