Uluru/Katherine
9Oct2007 Filed under: Travel Author: DarinI’ve just arrived in Katherine from Uluru via Tindal Royal Australian Airforce base. I’m staying at Knotts Crossing Resort which is only slightly nicer than a Motel 6 and without question the poorest accommodation on the trip thus far.
A note on the counter in my room reads:
PLEASE NOTE
Any food will need to be placed in air-tight containers or in the fridge as the ginger ants will get into anything & everything.
Apologies for any inconveniences.

Ginger ants? I think I’m in for a long night.
Tomorrow we visit Katherine Gorge. I’ll post a report tomorrow night and try to upload. Some pictures if I can find a computer.
