Our Midwest experiment is complete and our conclusion is we are meant for the West Coast. So, Darin found a new job, gave notice at his old job, we ordered a truck, filled it, sent it, and now we’re going too. We are VERY excited to go whale watching in Half Moon Bay, kayaking in Bolinas Lagoon and hiking on Mount Tamalpais. But most of all we are thrilled to be closer to the family.

We actually sent our stuff last weekend with much help from Ben & Christy. Our good friend Lynne Kerhin & her husband Brian also stopped by with their two adorable children DEK & Lily to wish us well.

We used ABF Upack again as it is such an incredible value.

We hadn’t really unpacked from our last move so it was a snap putting everything back in the truck. We’re going to miss our cute little house but we won’t miss the $186 gas bill in the winter. Come to think of it we won’t miss winter either.

At the end of moving day Dustin & Sina joined us along with Ben & Christy at Wildfire at the Oak Brook Mall. Dustin & Sina were in town for the weekend to celebrate Sina’s birthday.

On Sunday Dustin & Sina joined us for church and then headed home while Ben & Christy visited their old ward in Chicago. It was SO FUN to see everyone and get our house moved.

Once we have a permanent address in the Bay Area we’ll get the details out.
