19Jun2008 Filed under: Life Author: LizI’ve been dreading going to the DMV for many moons now. Today I finally screwed up the courage, put on my patient hat and made the trip. I have to say it was absolutely marvelous. The people behind each counter were sooooo helpful. They compressed three days of blech (my estimate) into one afternoon. Maybe it was even one hour. A+ for the DMV!

The DMV, in California, in 1 hour?! Is sucker really written in bold across my forehead? That has got to be the story of the week, forget Tiger’s knee and the Presidential election… (Does that even beat a trip to France?)

No lie child! One hour. This morning I had to return to get my plates because I had to have Darin sign the form last night. But today was equally painless. And the people were so nice!
